LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 12.02-12.06.2024. https://forms.gle/fG3QGhnvrQnGpk2n7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY Nov 29th at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account.
Orders are charged even if they are not picked up.Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
STUDENT LEAD ROASAY: Student-led rosary every Tuesday at 7:15 am in the St. Michael Chapel. All students, faculty, and parents are welcome.
GIRL’S GOLF: If you are a returning golfer or are interested in joining the golf team please stop by Coach LeBlanc’s office.
BOY’S SOCCER: The #3 ranked Loyola boy’s soccer team defeated West Monroe 1 – 0 Thursday night. The winning goal was scored by senior Mark Henry. Come out and support the Flyers at Byrd High School as they take on the #1 ranked University High Cubs at 7:40 pm Friday night.

PORTER’S COAT DRIVE: Please bring in gently used or new coats to help those in need this winter season. The coats can be dropped off in the box located in the front office. The 1st pick up will be before Thanksgiving break and the second pickup will be before Christmas break. Let’s show our Faith in Action to our local community.
TOY DRIVE: FAiTH will be holding a competition between the homeroom classes! Tuesday, November 12 thru Thursday, November 21, we will be collecting toys for Santa to hand out to the children on FAiTH Day. Please bring NEW and unwrapped toys for both girls and boys, ages 1-15. Suggestions include: baby dolls, board games, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls. Think of all of the fun toys you played with at that age and pay it forward! The second place homeroom will get a free Dillas card and a free Canes meal card. The WINNING HOMEROOM will get a free Dillas card and a free Canes meal card, AND a doughnut breakfast on Friday, November 22! In order for a homeroom to win, there must be at least 1 toy turned in per person in that homeroom. Bring toys to your homeroom teacher!!! Spread joy this Christmas season!!!

SEASON PASSESS BASKETBALL AND SOCCER: Season Passes for Basketball and Soccer are now on sale. Basketball passes are $84 each and Soccer Passes are $96 each for Boys and $64 each for girls. Each card allows for 1 admission to every pre and regular season game for freshmen, JV and Varsity games. Children 6 and under get in free.

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES:
CONCESSIONS: We still have several football games that need volunteers to serve concessions. Additionally, we have added soccer games to the concession stand sign up. GARDEN PARK:Garden Park meets every Wednesday, from 3 pm - 4 pm, at 9111 Linwood Avenue. Each week we participate in different and fun activities with the residents of Garden Park. For more information on this service hour opportunity, please contact Ms. Barker.
ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH: Please see the attached sheet for information on the bake sale, Nov. 23rd and 24th, to support our seven seminarians and three novitiates. Please make sure your name and school are attached to the baked goods so that you can get service hours.
SHREVEPORT OPERA GUILD: Les Boutiques de Noel (11/22-11/24) at the Shreveport Convention Center needs volunteers, particularly on set-up days (11/20-11/21) after school. Please sign up to volunteer!
FOOD BANK - TURKEY TROT: The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot. Volunteers the week of Thanksgiving, November 23 - 27 to help with race registration and packets at Sportspectrum. Volunteers are also needed at the event Thanksgiving morning, November 28.
