FRIDAY - 11/22/24: The school will have a B Day with an End-of-Day Activity Schedule. The only difference is that school will dismiss at 1:30 instead of 2:30 to allow for safe travel to the football playoff game at Leesville. Game time is 7:00 and tickets are $12.00 at the gate.

GIRL’S SOCCER: Come out this weekend to Messmer Stadium and support the Lady Flyers. They will face Pope John Paul on Friday night, November 22nd. The kick off is at 7:00 pm and Saturday morning, November 23rd, at 10:30 versus Northlake Christian. Let’s go Lady Flyers.
LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 12.02-12.06.2024. https://forms.gle/fG3QGhnvrQnGpk2n7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY Nov 29th at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account.
Orders are charged even if they are not picked up.Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
HAPPY BELLY’S: Will be coming to Loyola FRIDAY (11/22/24). Cash and card will be accepted.
GIRL’S GOLF: If you are a returning golfer or are interested in joining the golf team please stop by Coach LeBlanc’s office.
SENIORS: Loyola has Centenary College visiting Thursday, Nov 21 at 10:30.- Juniors and seniors, remember that you must register for these visits on Scoir at least 24 hours in advance.

PORTER’S COAT DRIVE: Please bring in gently used or new coats to help those in need this winter season. The coats can be dropped off in the box located in the front office. The 1st pick up will be before Thanksgiving break and the second pickup will be before Christmas break. Let’s show our Faith in Action to our local community.
SEASON PASSESS BASKETBALL AND SOCCER: Season Passes for Basketball and Soccer are now on sale. Basketball passes are $84 each and Soccer Passes are $96 each for Boys and $64 each for girls. Each card allows for 1 admission to every pre and regular season game for freshmen, JV and Varsity games. Children 6 and under get in free.

SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES:
CONCESSIONS: We still have several football games that need volunteers to serve concessions. Additionally, we have added soccer games to the concession stand sign up. All students who work the soccer games will receive 4 or more service hours, depending on the length of the games. Sign up at the link below.

GARDEN PARK:Garden Park meets every Wednesday, from 3 pm - 4 pm, at 9111 Linwood Avenue. Each week we participate in different and fun activities with the residents of Garden Park. For more information on this service hour opportunity, please contact Ms. Barker.
ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH: Please drop off baked items in the back of the church in , Nov. 23rd and 24th, to support our seven seminarians and three novitiates. Please make sure your name and school are attached to the baked goods so that you can get service hours. On Saturday you can drop off from 1-4 pm. On Sunday you can drop off 30 minutes before each Mass.
SHREVEPORT OPERA GUILD: Les Boutiques de Noel (11/22-11/24) at the Shreveport Convention Center needs volunteers, particularly on set-up days (11/20-11/21) after school. Please sign up to volunteer!
FOOD BANK - TURKEY TROT: The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot. Volunteers the week of Thanksgiving, November 23 - 27 to help with race registration and packets at Sportspectrum. Volunteers are also needed at the event Thanksgiving morning, November 28.

CHRISTMAS IN ROSELAND:
Event Details:- Location: American Rose Center, 8877 Jefferson Paige Rd, Shreveport, LA
- Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old
- Dates: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from November 29 – December 15; nightly from December 16 – December 23
- Time: 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm (Volunteers are asked to arrive at 4:30 pm)
Volunteer Perks:- A free pass to enjoy the park on any other night of Christmas in Roseland
- Light snacks and water during your break (please bring a water bottle)
- The chance to spread holiday cheer while supporting a meaningful cause!
Volunteer FAQ:- Arrival Time: Please arrive at 4:30 pm to ensure smooth entry before traffic increases.
