This advent, we pray the words: Heavenly Father, help us to imitate Your Immaculate Daughter Mary in her love for You. Grant us the grace to love You as much as she, all our lives and grant that through her help and her prayers, we ourselves may come to You cleansed from our sins. O Mary Immaculate, mother of our Lord, Pray for us! Amen

Announcements for Wednesday, December 8, 2021 - Today is a B day.- Exam Schedule - Off Schedule Exams begin later this week. Regular Exam Schedule is as follows:
- Thursday December 16th - Social Studies 8:00 and Math 9:30
- Friday, December 17th - English 8:00 and Science 9:30
- Student volunteers are needed for a December 18 community project called Wreaths Across America. Volunteers will help place a wreath on 800 veterans graves at the Greenwood Cemetery (on Stoner Ave. not far from LCP). The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. Register to volunteer online at https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/.
- FAiTH Chairmen Applications for next year are available in Ms. Hymel's office. The application must be completed and returned in person, not by email. to Ms. Hymel by Friday, December 17, no exceptions will be made for late submissions. Come by Ms. Hymel's office anytime for an application.
- If you are interested in discerning your vocation in the Catholic Church with your fellow Flyers, please sign up for the Loyola Discernment Groups:
- The boys' soccer team plays Captain Shreve this tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Messmer. See you there to cheer on the Flyers!
- Great news! We can now visit Garden Park in person! If you are interested in visiting Garden Park right after school this Wednesday December 8th, please let Ms. Barker know soon because we are limited to 12 students. Also, don't forget your holly jolly Christmas accessories to cheer up the residents! We hope to see you there!
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 12.13.21 – 12.15.21. https://forms.gle/gsgQR1uX1UCUpiwu7 The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana is going to fill Angel Tree toy bags over the next seven days at their Corps Community Center, 200 E. Stoner Ave. Volunteers are welcome until 5pm on Dec. 8, 9, 10, and especially Dec. 13-14. You also may come on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 8 am-11am to help with Angel Tree. Contact Scott McCloud, Volunteer Coordinator at 318-424-3200, ext. 23 with questions.
